Since 1950\, NSF has invested in ideas and innovations across all fields of science and engineering. \nKLRN and the The DoSeum are joining museums across the country by participating in the NSF’s STEM Day\, an event for learners of all ages filled with exciting hands-on activities and a screening of Cyberchase. \nJoin us from 10AM to 1PM at The DoSeum for a free\, family-friendly event that celebrates learning! \nSchedule of Events \nCyberchase Screening in English & Spanish\nOngoing from 10AM – 1PM\nHands-on STEM activities\nOngoing from 10AM – 1PM\nWelcome and Dinosaur George Discussion \n10:30AM \nMeet & Greet with Digit from Cyberchase\n10AM – 10:30AM\n11AM – 11:30AM\n12PM – 12:30PM\n  \nActivities Offered:\n\n St. Philip’s College Engineering & Math Department – students will guide a Scribbler Robot\, a mobile robot that can be programmed for creative drawing patterns\, to create their very own STEM-themed picture!\nKLRN Education Team- explore what candy and semiconductors have in common with a Chip Kids diffusion activity that teaches about the process of manufacturing semiconductors!\nKLRN Education Team- Plant a sunflower\nAlamo NEX Construction- participate in a spaghetti tower building challenge\nSTEM Activity with the Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas\nUTSA Chemistry Department\nDoor Prizes awarded every 30 minutes.\n\n  \nEvent Info\nRegistration for this event is required.\nPlease RSVP using this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FTMBMMC  \nThis FREE family event will be held in the theater room just as you enter the museum but before you go through the admission desk. \nThere is no need to purchase a Doseum ticket in order to attend the screening.  However\, if you would like to enter the actual Doseum you will you need to pay the admission fee. The Doseum admission prices can be found here: https://www.thedoseum.org/admission. \nWe hope you and your family will join us in this nationwide celebration of NSF-powered research and how it has powered the economy and touched everyone’s lives.
